Please read these Terms of Use carefully before downloading or using the Untraced mobile application (the “App”) operated by G Bar G Apps LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these terms.
By accessing or using Untraced, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, that you have read and understood these Terms of Use, and that you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree to these terms, do not download or use the App.
G Bar G Apps LLC grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download and use Untraced on an Android device that you own or control, solely for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include the right to modify, distribute, reproduce, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the App.
Untraced is a permission auditing tool that scans apps installed on your Android device and identifies which ones have been granted location, microphone, and camera permissions. The App provides risk indicators based on a curated on-device database to help you make informed decisions about your app permissions.
All scanning, analysis, and data storage occur entirely on your device. Untraced has no server-side component. No data about you or your device is collected, transmitted, or shared. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
The risk indicators provided by Untraced — including “Potentially High Risk,” “Potentially Elevated Risk,” and “Low Indicated Risk” — are intended for general awareness only. They are assessments based on permission type, access mode, and a curated app profile database. They do not constitute definitive claims about the data practices, intentions, or conduct of any app developer or publisher.
Untraced does not accuse any app or developer of wrongdoing. Users are encouraged to review the Methodology screen within the App for a full explanation of how risk indicators are calculated and what they mean.
Untraced does not block, intercept, modify, or interfere with the operation of any other app on your device. It does not change any permissions on your behalf. The App provides information and navigates you to your device’s built-in system settings so that you can make informed decisions about your own permissions.
Untraced is available as a free download with core features included at no charge. An optional Pro tier is available and unlocks additional features including background scanning, scan history, and scan diff. The Pro tier is available through the following purchase options:
Subscriptions are billed through the Google Play Store and renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. You may cancel at any time through the Google Play Store; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you will retain Pro access until that date.
The lifetime purchase grants you perpetual access to Pro features as they exist at the time of purchase and as updated during the continued availability of the App. A lifetime purchase is a one-time non-refundable transaction and does not renew. It is tied to your Google Play account and is non-transferable.
All purchases are processed by Google Play. Refund requests are subject to Google Play’s refund policies. We do not issue refunds directly. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact Google Play support.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time. If pricing changes, active subscribers will be notified in advance through the Google Play Store. Continued use of a subscription after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific requirements. Use of the App is at your sole risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, G Bar G Apps LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to decisions made based on risk indicators provided by the App. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to download it or, in the case of a subscription, the amount paid in the most recent billing period.
We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the Last Updated date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Vermont, without regard to conflict of law principles.
G Bar G Apps LLC shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations under these Terms of Use arising out of or caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, internet or telecommunications failures, power outages, or any other event beyond our reasonable control. In such circumstances, our obligations will be suspended for the duration of the event. This provision does not affect your right to cancel a subscription in accordance with the terms of your purchase.
